Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: Umar Riaz supports brother Asim Riaz amid KKK controversy

In a recent development on the popular reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, contestant Asim Riaz found himself at the center of controversy following a clash with host Rohit Shetty.

The fallout resulted in Asim's expulsion from the show, sparking a wave of reactions from fans and the entertainment community. Amidst this turmoil, Asim's brother, Umar Riaz, has come forward in a strong show of support.

Umar, who has himself been a part of reality TV, took to his X account (formerly Twitter) to express his views on the incident. In a cryptic yet poignant note, he addressed the issue of degrading others and the detrimental effects it can have on a person’s mental well-being.

He wrote "Dont degrade someone to a level that their worst demons comes out! After that anything that happens is not justified and never will be!

Love can do wonders to a person and hate can make a person his own worst enemy! Just saying!"

Although Umar did not specifically mention Asim or Rohit in his post, the timing led many on the internet to believe he was defending his brother.

The controversy began when Asim failed to complete a task on the show. He claimed that the stunt was impossible to finish and demanded proof from the makers that it was doable.

The situation escalated when Asim confronted fellow contestant Abhishek Kumar, even threatening to throw his shoe at him. His refusal to heed the show's host, Rohit Shetty, ultimately led to his expulsion from the stunt-based reality show.

Upon failing the task, Asim accused the makers of setting up an impossible challenge, stating, "Do it in front of me. I won’t take a rupee from you guys. If you do it, I won’t take a rupee, the camera is on.” Irritated by his remark, Rohit Shetty showed him a rehearsal video where a crew member successfully completed the task.

Observing Asim’s continued anger, Shetty announced that Asim was expelled from the show due to his behavior.

Asim’s actions also sparked a flurry of reactions from fans and former contestants alike. Ex-contestants Arjit Taneja and Kushal Tandon were among the first to voice their opinions, strongly condemning Asim’s behavior. Both took to social media to express their disappointment and frustration over the incident.
