Keerthy Suresh celebrates Onam for the first time with her husband, Antony Thattil, following their wedding in 2024. The actress took to her Instagram and shared a series of photos from the festivity.
She captioned the pics in Malayalam, “Onam Ponnonam.” The actress looked stunning in the white saree. She gave a modern twist to her modern look. The actress has reminded her fans on Onam that festive attire can be both distinctly modern and steeped in tradition.
Keerthy opted for a cream saree that reinterpreted the classic Kasavu for the event. Delicate florals in pink, orange, and purple hues were embroidered onto the saree in place of a plain drape, giving the otherwise calm colour scheme a hint of playfulness.
The saree was adorned with a thin golden border that served as the design's anchor, preserving the authenticity of the Kasavu people's centuries-old weaving customs. Kasavu textiles have long been an essential part of Onam festivities, having originated in Kerala during the Travancore era of the 18th century.
Meanwhile, Keerthy’s husband, Antony Thattil, complimented her in a traditional look. He sported a crisp white kurta and a Kerala mundu edged with a gold border.

Keerthy met Antony on Orkut after she DM'd him on the social media platform. The couple started an instant connection, and after a month of chatting, they met in person in a restaurant. They started dating when she was in the 12th grade. Antony is seven years older and was working in Qatar at the time.
Antony proposed to Keerthy in 2010, and things got serious between the duo in 2016. The couple got married in December 2024 after dating for 15 years.
