Kannada actor Upendra confirms Aamir Khan to star in Rajinikanth’s Coolie, says, "there are combination scenes"

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Coolie is one of the most-awaited films this year and fans cannot wait to see him on the big screen. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also has Nagarjuna Akkineni, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and others in pivotal roles.

Also, there is a strong buzz about Aamir Khan being part of the film. Well, this news has been confirmed to be true by none other than Upendra.

Kannada actor Upendra was in Hyderabad recently to launch the teaser of his upcoming film 45, which has Shiva Rajkumar as well. During this press meet, the actor was asked about Coolie, he mentioned that working with Rajinikanth and sharing the screen with him has been an amazing experience.

He said, "Yeah, there are combination scenes with them.” He also added that working with Nagarjuna and Aamir Khan has also been a memorable moment but refrained from sharing more details about the film.

Having Aamir Khan on board is certainly an aspect that is going to increase the Hindi market for Coolie. This will be his first time working for a film in the South, and fans cannot keep calm. Lal Singh Chaddha’s failure at the box office has made Aamir choose good scripts and tell stories that would interest the audience.

Upendra was recently seen in his sci-fi film UI, and he has 45 and Budhhivantha 2 underway, making it exciting for his fans. Coolie is surely something he is super proud of. Pooja Hegde has also come on board for a special dance number in this film.

Coolie is set for a grand release on August 14, and will be a clash with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s War 2. Expectations for both the films are high. Lokesh Kanagaraj’s last film was Le,o with Thalapathy Vijay.

After that, he started the film Coolie which was recently wrapped up. His next will be Kaithi 2 with Karthi. Rajinikanth recently joined the shoot of Jailer 2, and it is obvious that another blockbuster hit is in the making.
