Sharvari to join Ranveer Singh’s Don 3 after Kiara Advani's exit: Reports

Sharvari has reportedly bagged a role in Don 3

Bollywood actress Sharvari, who is known for her role in Munjya and Vedaa, is reported to have bagged the lead role in the highly anticipated film Don 3 alongside Ranveer Singh. Kiara Advani was previously scheduled to play the role of the female lead, but she had to quit because of her pregnancy.

According to recent reports by Bollywood Hungama, the makers are considering Sharvari to cast in the Farhan Akhtar directorial film. However, no final decision has been made as of now.

A source told the outlet, “Sharvari and one more actress were being considered. But she has managed to bag the role. The team at Excel Entertainment are excited to have her on board. Sharvari, too, is quite kicked to be a part of such a huge franchise and also because it’s different from Alpha though both are slick action films.”

The upcoming film is expected to start filming by this year. However, there have been reports that the release of the film has been postponed.

Previously, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar shared a timeline of the film's production in November 2023 on Instagram and said, “The makers and Ranveer Singh are on the same page that the timeline of Don 3 remains unchanged. Any such news of postponement is not true.”

Ranveer Singh has replaced Shah Rukh Khan as the titular character in the movie. Recent reports have also suggested that Vikrant Massey has also been roped in to play the antagonist in the film.

Meanwhile, Sharvari is currently busy working on the upcoming action thriller Alpha. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film also stars Alia Bhatt in the lead. The film is scheduled to be released on Christmas 2025.
