The production team has successfully wrapped up many crucial scenes, leaving only the major portions of the movie to be shot. In a statement, Ashwini Dutt, head of Vyjayanthi Films, confirmed the progress. "Kalki 2898 AD part 2 has been completed almost 60%. Only major portions are left to be shot. We are not decided on the release date (sic)," he said. Despite the substantial progress, the team has yet to announce a release date for the sequel, leaving fans in eager anticipation.
