Real estate transactions involving celebrities often grab attention, especially when the numbers are as staggering as this one. In a massive property deal, actor Tusshar Kapoor and his father, veteran star Jeetendra, have sold a commercial asset in Mumbai for a whopping Rs 559.25 crore, making it one of the most high-value celebrity-linked real estate transactions in recent times.

According to property registration records accessed by Square Yards, the deal was officially registered in January 2026. The property sold is the DC-10 building at Balaji IT Park, located in Chandivali near Powai, a well-known commercial and business hub in Mumbai. The asset has a built-up area of approximately 30,195 square metres, translating to nearly 3.25 lakh square feet, underlining the sheer scale of the transaction.

The property was registered by Tushar Infra Developers Private Limited, owned by Tusshar Kapoor, and Pantheon Buildcon Private Limited, which is owned by Jeetendra. Chandivali’s proximity to Powai, one of Mumbai’s fastest-growing commercial and residential zones, has significantly boosted the value of such large office spaces over the years, making this sale strategically timed.

Jeetendra, one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring stars, later transitioned into a successful producer. Along with his daughter Ektaa Kapoor, he founded Balaji Telefilms, a production house that reshaped Indian television. The banner has delivered some of the most iconic daily soaps in Indian TV history, including Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Pavitra Rishta, Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, and the hugely popular Naagin franchise. Balaji Telefilms has also produced notable films such as Ek Villain, The Dirty Picture, Lootera, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, and Veere Di Wedding.

Meanwhile, Tusshar Kapoor has carved out his own space in Bollywood with films like Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai, the Golmaal franchise, Shootout at Lokhandwala, and The Dirty Picture. He was most recently seen in Mastiii 4 alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani. Looking ahead, Tusshar is gearing up for Welcome to the Jungle, a multi-starrer featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, and several others, slated for release later this year.
