Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki

This Navratri season, the creators behind the iconic Ramayan by Ramanand Sagar bring another devotional treat to audiences with the release of Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki.

Following the unparalleled success of Ramayan on Doordarshan, which became a record-breaking hit even during the COVID lockdown, the national channel has once again teamed up with Sagar World Multimedia and Aerika Cineworks to present this divine series.

Produced by Prem Sagar, Neelam Sagar, and Shiv Sagar, and co-produced by Aakash and Aashish Chaudhry, Jai Mata Vaishno Devi Ki is directed by Dharmesh Shah. The show will air on DD National at 7:30 PM and 10:30 PM, with repeat telecasts at 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM starting October 2, 2024, as part of the Navratri celebrations. The 11-episode series delves into the divine connection between Shri Ram and Mata Vaishno, a significant part of Indian mythology.

This Navratri promises to be extra special with this devotional saga, a story many have grown up hearing from their ancestors. Beyond its captivating narrative, the series offers breathtaking visuals, having been shot across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, and Vrindavan.

Despite the challenges of filming in just 50 days post the second COVID wave, the makers have created a visually stunning and spiritually enriching experience.

The story is inspired by the renowned book Vaishno Devi – Jammu by journalist Shri Suraj Saraf. It portrays the journey of Maa Vaishno Devi from Ratnagiri to Trikut Parbat, where she currently awaits Shri Ram in the form of the ‘Kalki’ avatar.
