High profile weddings often look very glamorous, picture perfect and effortless to guests and onlookers, but what goes behind the scenes is something which none would have thought of.
It actually demands months of planning, coordination and precision which happens over a period of months
In an exclusive chat with Moneycontrol, Devanshi Patel, Founder of Shreem Events spoke about how their team planned the wedding of actor Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy.
During the course of conversation, she also revealed that working and creating such large-scale celebrations require careful planning and coordination across multiple teams plus there is an intense focus on guest experience.
Devanshi Patel explained that high-profile weddings involve far more than just decor and aesthetics.
“Luxury weddings often appear effortless and glamorous on the surface, but behind the scenes they demand an extraordinary level of planning and coordination. One of the most challenging celebrations we worked on was the pre-wedding reception of Allu Sirish and Nayanika Reddy, where a large number of VIPs, celebrities and high-profile guests moved alongside the family, creating complex stage and guest management scenarios,” she told us.
Devanshi said that the pressure of public attention and tight schedule makes it important to have meticulous preparation, which actually begins months prior to the actual event.
“The timeline was extremely tight and the scale of attention was immense, which required meticulous planning, strong contingency strategies and a highly detail-oriented team to ensure the event felt seamless for every guest present," she added.
Devanshi said that planning such weddings usually begins months in advance, even though the actual work like the visual production may begin just days before the main ceremony.
Plus she says, privacy is the key to such high profile weddings.
“Planning a high-profile wedding goes far beyond design and décor. It is essentially a large-scale production that requires coordination across hospitality, logistics, artists, security, guest management and creative design. For weddings like these, our focus rests on three key pillars: privacy, personalisation and seamless execution,” she explains.
“In this case, preparations began nearly three months before the wedding. We worked closely with the families to shape the creative direction, finalise venues, coordinate vendors and carefully plan the overall guest experience.”
When it came to the Allu Sirish–Nayanika Reddy wedding, the couple had a clear vision for how they wanted the celebrations to feel.
“Their brief was simple. They wanted the ceremonies to feel personal, warm and intimate rather than grand purely for spectacle. The celebrations were rooted in traditional Telugu customs while maintaining simplicity and authenticity,” she said while speaking to us over mail.
“The couple was very clear that they did not want anything overly extravagant or created purely for social media. The focus was on meaningful ceremonies where guests could truly experience the warmth and sacredness of the rituals.”
Shreem Events has worked across India and internationally, curating weddings in destinations such as Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa, Mumbai and Hyderabad, as well as locations abroad including the UAE, Europe, Thailand, the United States and Japan.
“Over the past 13 years, we have curated more than 650 weddings and large-scale celebrations,” Patel notes. “What makes every wedding unique is the couple and their families. Each celebration carries its own story, traditions and vision.”
She emphasised that guest experience remained central to every event they arrange and handle.
“Guest experience is one of the most important aspects of planning a wedding. We create detailed hospitality plans covering airport transfers, accommodation, dietary preferences, ceremonial seating and personalised assistance so that every guest feels comfortable and well looked after.”
Devanshi said she believes the true success of a wedding lies in how guests experience it.
“The goal is always to create celebrations where every moment feels connected, immersive and effortless for the guests. When people feel welcomed, comfortable and emotionally involved in the celebration, that is when a wedding truly becomes memorable.”
Allu Sirish and Nayanika tied the knot on March 6.
