The ongoing conflict between HYBE and ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin over
management rights and power escalated with Min Hee Jin releasing a new personal statement today. This marks her first public statement since
her controversial press conference in April.
HYBE and Min Hee Jin clash intensifies amidst allegations and legalbattles over ADOR management
In response, HYBE issued a statement refuting Min Hee Jin’s claims and
asserting that they possess legally obtained evidence of her alleged
attempts to take over ADOR and disparage the girl group NewJeans.
HYBE's latest statement expressed regret over what they described as
Min Hee Jin’s unprofessional behaviour, accusing her of using
emotional appeals to cloud public judgment during the ongoing legal
proceedings. HYBE criticised Min Hee Jin for involving artists in the
dispute, which they viewed as an attempt to shift focus away from the
core issues.
HYBE asserted that they have substantial evidence, including chat
logs, proving that Min Hee Jin attempted to engage external investors
to usurp control of ADOR. They claimed these actions reveal her impure
intentions and unfitness as a CEO. HYBE further accused Min Hee Jin of
making disrespectful comments about female employees and artists like
NewJeans, stating that such behaviour is unacceptable for someone in
her position.
A significant portion of HYBE’s statement addressed allegations that
they had acquired data and evidence against Min Hee Jin illegally.
HYBE categorically denied these accusations, stating that they had
followed legal procedures to obtain and submit original evidence to
the court. They emphasised that all data presented in the trial was
acquired and handled with full legal compliance, aiming to dispel any
notions of misconduct.
In closing, HYBE urged Min Hee Jin to act more professionally and
avoid tarnishing the reputations of the artists involved. They called
for her to participate sincerely in all legal proceedings and the
upcoming audit. HYBE expressed a desire for Min Hee Jin to refrain
from spreading "tilted truths" through the media and to maintain a
professional demeanor moving forward.
Min Hee Jin is fighting to prevent HYBE from removing her from her
position as CEO of ADOR, with a critical emergency shareholders’
meeting scheduled for May 31. The outcome of this meeting and the
court’s decision will be crucial in determining the future leadership
and direction of ADOR.
