Singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has once again landed in controversy following a recent statement that has sparked widespread backlash online.

A video from Nanku and Karun’s Delhi concert has gone viral on social media, in which the rapper-singer is heard making sexually explicit remarks while addressing the audience amid the city’s cold weather. The clip, widely shared across platforms, shows Honey Singh speaking candidly to the crowd during the live performance.

In the video, Honey Singh can be heard saying, “Dilli ki thand! Gaadi mein s*x karo, Dilli ki thand mein. Use condoms guys, please. Play safe!’ (Delhi’s cold! In this weather, Have sex in the car in Delhi’s cold.)

While the audience present at the concert responded with loud cheers and hooting, the remarks did not sit well with many netizens.

Soon after the clip surfaced online, social media users criticised Honey Singh for making such comments on a public platform. Several users took to X to express their disappointment and anger over his statements.

One user wrote, “This obscenity is so intense that i can't even write those words here. I'm really shocked thinking how someone can say such obscene And vulgar things from a public platform?”

Another X user commented, "Honey Singh we are not expecting this from you in public." Another comment read, “Yo Yo Honey Singh has gone mad because of competition with Badshah. And those people who are hooting are a doomed generation.”

Yet another post stated, “When success goes to one’s head, this is what happens. After disappearing from the industry for years, he made a comeback, and the moment he tasted success, the nonsense began again. No amount of PR can hide the truth for long. This person is downright degraded.”

Despite the growing criticism and online outrage, Yo Yo Honey Singh has not yet responded to the controversy. The incident comes shortly after the singer-rapper made his comeback to the music scene following a long hiatus, making the remarks all the more contentious among fans and critics alike.
