Shaun Weiss offers help to Tylor Chase

Former child actor Tylor Chase, who starred in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide on Nickelodeon, recently sparked health concerns after a video of him went viral on social media. The video showed Tylor living on the streets of Riverside, California.

However, Mighty Ducks actor Shaun Weiss has come forward to help Tylor. Shaun took to his Instagram and shared a video and said, “I have received many messages about [Tylor Chase].”

He added, “I reached out to some friends of mine, and we have a bed for him at a detox, and we have a place for him to go and get long-term treatment.”

Shaun elaborated, “All we need to do now is find him. I’m not in Los Angeles, or I would go look for him myself.” The actor further asked his followers to text him if someone gets a face-to-face with Tylor so that he can get him some help in time for the holiday.

For the unversed, Tylor Chase is known for starring as Martin Qwerly, a chatty and perceptive middle school student in Nickelodeon’s Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. He starred in all three seasons of the show.

His other credits include a part in the 2007 independent film Good Time Max, which starred James Franco, and a cameo on Everybody Hates Chris.

A video of Tylor recently went viral on social media in which he was asked if he was on Disney Channel, to which he responded that he was on Nickelodeon.

In the viral video, Tylor is shown standing on a California street in obviously troubled conditions, struggling to put on his pants and wearing tattered clothing. He is seen pleading while a woman talks to him. He was previously surrounded by cameras and news crews.

Devon Werkheiser, Daniel Curtis Lee, and Lindsey Shaw, Chase's former Ned's Declassified co-stars, discussed the matter on their podcast after the viral video went viral. In the midst of the unsettling pictures, the performers offered a note of hope by discussing Chase's health and promising to help their "old friend."

Meanwhile, Shaun Weiss is known for playing goalie Greg Goldberg in the 1992 movie The Mighty Ducks and its follow-ups D2: The Mighty Ducks and D3: The Mighty Ducks. He has been transparent about his sober path. In 2022, he shared a photo of himself celebrating his two-year sobriety anniversary with the message, "Recovery is possible."
