The clip, which has quickly spread online, captures an emotional moment at home as Kim waits for the results alongside her mother Kris Jenner, sister Khloe Kardashian and her son Saint.
As the clock hits 5 pm, the tension is obvious. Kim refreshes her screen, hoping for good news, but instead is faced with disappointment.
Trying to stay calm, she initially tells her family, “I didn’t make it. It’s okay, I figured that,” even as her voice begins to break.

She explains that her essay answers didn’t feel strong enough, and deep down she knew that might cost her a pass.
Kris Jenner steps in with reassurance, reminding her daughter of the effort she put in, saying, “It sucks because you worked so hard.”
Khloe, however, offers a more realistic assessment, pointing out just how demanding Kim Kardashian’s life is.
Balancing intense legal studies while filming shows, running businesses and learning scripts was always going to be a huge challenge. She later shares the same concern with Kim’s law mentor, suggesting that the pressure may simply have been too much at once.
In a moment of raw honesty, Kim sums up her feelings by calling herself “a big f*****g loser this week,” a line that struck a chord with many viewers for its openness and self-criticism.
Still, giving up has never really been an option for her. On November 17, Kim Kardashian shared a video documenting the final weeks of her preparation, later revealing that she hadn’t passed.
In her caption, she made it clear that the setback wouldn’t stop her, writing, “I’ve shared so much of this journey with you… This dream means too much to me to walk away from, so I’m going to keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for myself until I get there.”
Adding to an already difficult period, Kim Kardashian also revealed in October 2025, on The Kardashians Season 7, that she was diagnosed with an unruptured brain aneurysm during a routine MRI.
Taken together, these moments show a year marked by pressure, resilience and a determination to keep going, even when things don’t go as planned.
