After a four-year hiatus from major public performances since 2022, global pop star Justin Bieber is set to make a highly anticipated return to the stage at the Grammy Awards 2026.
The Recording Academy confirmed Justin's upcoming appearance earlier this week, generating excitement among fans. In recent years, the singer has mostly avoided large live performances, making his return to the Grammy stage especially significant.
Adding to the excitement, Justin has received four Grammy nominations this year. He is nominated for album of the year for Swag, as well as for best pop vocal performance, best pop vocal album, and best R&B performance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Justin Bieber’s latest studio album, Swag, is his first full-length release since Justice in 2021, marking an important milestone in his recent musical journey.
Before announcing Justin’s performance, the Recording Academy had already revealed that several other high-profile artists would be performing at the ceremony. The lineup includes Sabrina Carpenter, hip-hop duo Clipse, and music icon Pharrell Williams.
The Academy also disclosed plans for a special segment spotlighting all eight nominees in the best new artist category this year. The nominees are Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, and The Marias, giving viewers a broad showcase of emerging talent across multiple genres.

The Grammy Awards 2026 are scheduled to air live on February 1, 2026, on CBS and Paramount+, starting at 5 pm. This edition of the ceremony will mark the final year of the Grammys’ long-running broadcast partnership with CBS, bringing a decades-long association to a close. It will also be the last ceremony hosted by Trevor Noah, who is wrapping up a six-year stint as the show’s master of ceremonies.
From next year, the Grammy Awards will move to Disney. Noah’s departure after hosting the show for six consecutive years will signal the end of a significant chapter in the event’s recent history.
