Hailey Bieber’s sister, Alaia Baldwin Aronow, is facing potential jail time after being officially charged in connection with her 2024 arrest, during which she was accused of throwing her tampon at a woman, Us Weekly exclusively reported.

According to the report, on January 26, Georgia prosecutors filed court documents detailing four misconduct criminal charges against Aronow. These charges include simple battery, simple assault, battery, and criminal trespass.

The alleged incident took place at Club Elan, a venue in Georgia. Prosecutors claimed that Aronow refused to leave the establishment despite being asked to exit.

In the court documents, prosecutors allege that Aronow, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin, threw a tampon at the victim, an act considered simple assault under Georgia law.

Additionally, Alaia allegedly removed “a portion of hair from the scalp of Ian O’Neill by pulling on the victim’s hair, contrary to the laws of the State of Georgia.”

If convicted, Aronow faces up to one year in jail on the battery charge, according to Georgia law.

Aronow was originally arrested on February 24, 2024. The criminal case saw little movement for over a year until the charges were formally filed. It appeared that Aronow had entered some form of pre-trial diversion program last year, but now an arraignment has been scheduled for April 23.

The situation reportedly escalated after the owner of Club Elan called law enforcement to report that a woman was attacking his staff and refusing to leave. Police arrived and identified the woman in question as Alaia. According to the police report, officers spoke with two bouncers and one bartender.

The employees stated that Alaia became belligerent after being told she had to leave a bathroom designated for employees. Aronow told the bartender that she needed “to change her tampon and asked for a few minutes.” The bartender reportedly allowed Aronow to stay and attend to her needs.

However, when she returned to the restroom, the bartender said Alaia “removed her tampon and threw it” at her. The police report further states that Alaia then began grabbing and pulling O’Neill’s hair and hit him in the genitals. Following these actions, security personnel were called in and removed her from the club. TMZ further reported that Aronow claimed she acted in self-defence.
