Turkish actress Hande Erçel has finally reacted to the rumours of her calling Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan ‘uncle’. A video of the actress recently went viral on social media, which portrays her recording Shah Rukh Khan at an international awards ceremony.
In a video that is making the rounds, the actress can be seen grinning while watching SRK give an award on stage with her friend Amina Kalil. Fans were excited with Handle and her "fangirl" moment.
Hande later re-shared the video on her Instagram Story, doubling the excitement of the fans. However, a screenshot of her post later went viral with the caption, "Who is this uncle I was just filming my friend @aminakalilofficial, I am not his fan!! Please stop spreading false information!!"
Hande now took to her X (formerly Twitter) and responded to the viral post, which allegedly turned out to be morphed. She penned in the caption, “This is fake.”
Previously, although the majority of viewers thought Hande Erçel was filming Shah Rukh Khan, a closer examination of her Instagram stories reveals a somewhat different narrative. Her close friend Amina Khalil, whom she tagged in numerous posts, was the subject of many of the images and videos she shared.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to star in the highly anticipated action thriller, King. He will share the screen space for the first time with his daughter, Suhana Khan. King also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and others in the key roles.
