Actor Shraddha Kapoor has once again set the internet buzzing, this time with a witty, off-the-cuff response to a fan’s question about her marriage plans. Known for her playful online presence and candid interactions with fans, Shraddha’s reply quickly became the talking point across social media platforms.
On Tuesday, Shraddha shared a promotional video on Instagram for her jewellery brand, Palmonas. In the clip, she humorously discusses how statistics suggest many break-ups happen around Valentine’s Day. Musing on the reasons behind this trend, she jokingly suggests that people could simply gift Palmonas boxes to stay happily coupled during the season of love. The light-hearted video fit perfectly with her cheerful social media persona, but it was the comment section that truly stole the spotlight.
A fan bluntly asked, “Shadi kab karoge @shraddhakapoor ji?” Shraddha didn’t dodge the question. Instead, she replied with a cheeky line: “Main karoongi you vivah karoongi (I will get married).” While the response didn’t reveal any timeline, its playful tone was enough to excite fans. The comments section soon flooded with reactions, ranging from humorous proposals like “@shraddhakapoor mere saath kar lo” to persistent follow-ups asking exactly when she plans to tie the knot.

The curiosity around Shraddha’s personal life isn’t new. She has frequently made headlines for her rumoured relationship with Rahul Mody. The two were first linked in early 2024 after being spotted together following a dinner outing in Mumbai. Although neither has officially confirmed the relationship, their public appearances and Shraddha’s occasional, playful Instagram posts have kept speculation alive. When rumours of a breakup surfaced later that year, the actor seemingly put them to rest by sharing a cosy picture from a vada pav date with Rahul in December 2024.
On the professional front, Shraddha continues to stay busy. She was last seen in the horror-comedy Stree 2, co-starring Rajkummar Rao, which emerged as a major box-office success. She also recently lent her voice to Judy Hopps in the Hindi version of Zootopia 2.
Looking ahead, Shraddha has an interesting mix of projects lined up, including the much-talked-about prequel Pahadpangira, the supernatural drama Naagin, and sequels like Stree 3 and Bhediya 2. She is also expected to appear in Eetha, a biographical drama based on the life of Marathi folk artist Vithabai Narayangaonkar. For now, though, it’s her playful one-liner on marriage that has fans happily guessing and gossip mills working overtime.
