Brad Pitt starrer sports action drama F1, based on Formula One racing, is performing well at the box office. The film received positive reviews and started with a decent number of footfalls in the theatres.
According to Sacnilk, F1 has earned around Rs 3.25 crore net in India on its fourth day for all languages. The total collection now stands at Rs 24.65 crore net in India, leaving behind Kajol starrer Maa and close to surpassing Vishnu Manchu’s Kannappa. F1 earned Rs 25.5 crore gross in India.
However, the film earned Rs 1,235 crore ($144.2 million) worldwide and has collected Rs 760 crore overseas. The film was made with a budget of Rs 1700 crore and is yet to become a blockbuster hit.
F1 opened at the Indian box office with decent numbers and earned Rs 5.5 crore net. The film continued the momentum, earning Rs 7.75 crore net in India, taking the toll to Rs 13.25 crore in two days.
Meanwhile, the trade website has also revealed that the film surpassed $140 million (Rs 11.97 billion) globally in its opening weekend. The film is also doing well in its domestic market and earned $55.6 million (Rs 4.76 billion) in North America.

Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and seven-time Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton. F1 also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Javier Bardem in pivotal roles. Additionally, Lewis Hamilton has also made a special appearance in the film.
F1 revolves around the racing driver who comes back to Formula One racing after thirty years. He takes this decision to save one of his partner's teams from breaking up.
