Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has issued an ultimatum regarding his future concerts in India. During his performance in Chandigarh on Saturday night, the singer, currently on his "Dil-Luminati" tour, declared that he will not host another concert in the country until the government improves the concert infrastructure.

Diljit emphasized the need for better facilities and organization for live events in India, citing ongoing challenges that affect the overall concert experience. His statement highlights the growing concern among artists regarding the country's event infrastructure and the demand for necessary improvements.

In a video posted by a fan from the concert, Diljit took the spotlight and voiced his frustration with the country's inadequate infrastructure, saying, “I want to tell the designated authorities that India does not have the infrastructure for live shows. This is a big revenue generating space. It also gives livelihood to many. Please focus on this space as well,"

“I will try to set up a stage in the middle while the crowd is distributed around it (to improve concert experience). I will not perform shows here until things improve here. Instead of troubling us, improve the infrastructure," Diljit continued.

Diljit's concerts faced criticism after tickets were being resold at inflated prices. While some have accused the Punjabi actor-singer of being involved in black-marketing his tickets, Diljit expressed disappointment over these allegations. The ‘Lover’ singer made it clear that he has no connection to ticket scalpers and emphasized that if tickets are being sold at such prices, artists have no control over the situation.

Ahead of his Chandigarh concert on 13th December, Shipra Bansal, Chairperson of the Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights, issued an advisory highlighting concerns regarding the safety and well-being of children at large-scale events like concerts.

In addition, the Telangana government issued an advisory to the Punjabi singer, urging him not to perform songs that promote violence, alcohol, or drugs during his concert. In response to this advisory, Diljit modified the lyrics of his songs accordingly.

Diljit Dosanjh's concerts in India have been nothing less than remarkable, displaying his captivating stage presence and boundless energy. As part of his Dil-Luminati tour, the Punjabi icon has delighted audiences in several cities, beginning with a spectacular launch in Delhi. He continued with exhilarating performances in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, and Bengaluru, attracting large crowds and delivering unforgettable moments for his fans.

Diljit Dosanjh will conclude his Dil-Luminati tour on 29th December in Guwahati.
