The fresh poster for Dhadak 2 has been released, generating excitement among Bollywood fans as the highly awaited love epic approaches its release date.
The teaser trailer for the film, presented by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions in collaboration with Zee Studios and Cloud 9 Pictures, is going to release on Friday (July 11).
The poster depicts an emotional moment between the leads in a sad blue tone, implying a love tale of hardship and resilience.
Triptii Dimri is seen hugging Siddhant Chaturvedi with both compassion and resistance in the poster and the tagline, "Marne aur ladne mein se ek ko chunna ho, toh ladna" ("If you have to choose between dying and fighting, choose to fight"), vividly indicates the film's emotional stakes.
Triptii Dimri will be seen in the role of Vidhi and Siddhant Chaturvedi will play Neelesh. The supporting cast includes Vipin Sharma, Manjiri Pupala, Deeksha Joshi, Amit Jaat, Priyank Tiwari, and Mayank Khanna.
Dhadak 2, directed and penned by Shazia Zahid Iqbal and Rahul Badwelkar, is a spiritual sequel to the 2018's Dhadak.
It is an adaptation of the highly acclaimed Tamil drama Pariyerum Perumal (2018), which addresses themes of caste, inequality, and societal pressure.
Following a series of delays, from the intended November 2024 date to March 2025, the Central Board of picture Certification has officially cleared the picture with a U/A 16+ classification, subject to a few required adjustments.
The film's duration is scheduled to be around 146 minutes. It is all set to release on August 1, 2025.
