This includes the shed where the murder occurred, the security guard's room where the body was temporarily kept, the vehicle used for transportation, the site where the body was dumped, the victim's clothing, and the weapons used in the attack. The fingerprints on the accused's clothing were also analyzed and matched with those of Darshan and Pavithra. This preliminary forensic report bolsters the prosecution's case, providing a solid foundation for the upcoming trial.

Additionally, the investigation revealed that Darshan and Pavithra were using SIM cards registered under other people's names. Darshan's contact number was registered under CP Hemanth's name, while Pavithra's was under the name of Manoj. This discovery adds another layer of complexity to the case, indicating possible attempts to obscure their identities and avoid detection.
Darshan is being probed in connection with the Renuka Swamy murder case, a crime that has sent shockwaves through the community. Renuka Swamy was found dead in Bengaluru on June 8, 2024. He was reportedly employed at an Apollo Pharmacy branch in Chitradurga. Allegations have surfaced that Renuka used to send vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda, who is a friend of Darshan. This harassment is believed to have motivated the murder, with Renuka's body being dumped in a canal at Kamaksshipalya, Bengaluru, in front of Darshan. Eight of the accused have implicated Darshan, claiming his presence during Renuka Swamy's assault. Consequently, the Kannada actor was arrested on June 11.
In a recent development, Darshan's spouse, Vijayalakshmi, wrote a letter to the Bengaluru Police Commissioner, clarifying her husband's relationship with Pavithra Gowda. She asserted, "I have full faith in the judiciary and believe the law will take its course. While it is true that Pavithra Gowda is a friend of my husband, she is not his wife. I am the only legally wedded wife of Darshan, and our marriage took place at Dharmasthala (Hindu pilgrimage center) on May 19, 2003."
The evidence and testimonies presented thus far paint a complex and disturbing picture. The fingerprints found on crucial objects and the use of SIM cards registered under false names indicate a premeditated attempt to avoid detection. The allegations of harassment and the subsequent murder point to a possible motive, while the presence of Darshan during the crime places him at the scene, strengthening the case against him.
This case has garnered significant media attention, not only because of the involvement of popular actors but also due to the gruesome nature of the crime and the extensive investigation that has followed. The police have meticulously collected and analyzed evidence, leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice.
The upcoming trial will undoubtedly be closely watched, as it seeks to unravel the truth behind Renuka Swamy's murder. The prosecution is expected to rely heavily on the forensic evidence, including the fingerprints and the analysis of the SIM cards, to establish the involvement of Darshan and Pavithra. Additionally, the testimonies of the accused, who have implicated Darshan, will play a crucial role in the trial.
As the legal proceedings move forward, the focus will remain on ensuring a fair trial and upholding the principles of justice. The outcome of this case will not only determine the fate of the accused but also serve as a testament to the efficacy of the legal system in handling such complex and high-profile cases.
