BTS’ golden maknae Jungkook has officially returned to Instagram — and in true superstar fashion, he amassed over 1 million followers in less than an hour! The surprise comeback to the platform sent fans worldwide into a frenzy after he casually revealed his new handle during an impromptu Instagram Live.

The account, now confirmed as @mnijungkook, went viral the moment Jungkook appeared live with fellow BTS members V (Kim Taehyung) and RM (Kim Namjoon). Fans were quick to notice the mysterious handle, and Jungkook wasted no time breaking it down: “The full form of the user ID is: My Name Is Jungkook.” Simple, sweet, and unmistakably Jungkook — and now a phrase that’s bound to become iconic among the BTS ARMY.

Interestingly, Instagram records show that the account was actually created back in January 2025. However, it wasn't until today (July 15) that the BTS members — including Jimin, Jin, J-Hope, and even the official BTS and BigHit accounts — began following it. This revelation suggests the account was kept under wraps until Jungkook was ready for the big reveal.

As of now, Jungkook’s profile features no posts, but that hasn’t stopped it from generating immense buzz. He currently follows only seven accounts — presumably his bandmates and official BTS pages — keeping the mystery alive. Adding to the fun, Jungkook also revealed he has another account dedicated to his beloved dog, adorably named “Bam’s Dad.”

Today’s live session was a treat for fans, marking the first Instagram livestream with multiple members since the group began their military enlistments. Jimin also made a surprise appearance during the broadcast, joining in from another room, while J-Hope popped up on Weverse after arriving at Incheon International Airport.

Currently, BTS members (except Jin and J-Hope) are in Los Angeles working on their much-anticipated comeback album, slated for release in spring 2026. While the group remained tight-lipped about details, the livestream gave fans a heartwarming glimpse into their camaraderie and behind-the-scenes moments.
