CID 2 cast salary revealed: Shivaji Satam aka ACP Pradyuman charges Rs 1 lakh per episode, Dayanand Shetty and Aditya Srivastava follow close behind

CID, one of Indian television’s most iconic crime investigation dramas, has had an enduring legacy since its debut. Running successfully for two decades, the show created a deep-rooted fanbase, especially among the 90s kids.

With the show’s recent return in 2025 after a six-year hiatus, it has once again captured the audience’s attention. While the gripping cases and thrilling storylines remain central to its appeal, the real strength of CID lies in its lead characters - ACP Pradyuman, Senior Inspector Daya, and Inspector Abhijeet.

These legendary roles, played by Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava respectively, have become household names.

Their commitment and charisma have been instrumental in the show’s long-standing success. Naturally, their contributions are reflected in the remuneration they receive per episode.

According to reports from The Daily Jagran, Shivaji Satam, who plays the much-loved ACP Pradyuman, charges around Rs 1 lakh per episode.

Known for his intense dialogue delivery and commanding screen presence, Satam is considered the face of CID. His popular catchphrase, "Daya, darwaza tod do!" is still quoted by fans across generations.

Dayanand Shetty, who portrays the strong and reliable Inspector Daya, earns Rs 80,000 per episode.

Apart from his iconic door-breaking moments, Dayanand Shetty's portrayal has brought a mix of action and emotion to the show, making Daya one of the most memorable characters in Indian television history.

Aditya Srivastava, who plays the sharp-witted and composed Inspector Abhijeet, reportedly charges Rs 70,000 per episode. His character, known for his intelligence and calm demeanor, has been pivotal in solving some of the most complex cases on the show.

While these figures are not officially confirmed, they reflect the significant value and popularity these actors bring to the series.

The return of CID has also introduced new faces like Parth Samthaan, who briefly played ACP Anshuman, along with Sparsh Khanchandani and Hrishikesh Pandey in important roles. However, fans were thrilled when Shivaji Satam returned to reprise his original role after a brief exit.

The new season of CID, which premiered on December 21, 2024, on both television and Netflix, continues to enjoy strong viewership. Thanks to the timeless charm of its lead trio, the show proves once again that classic content and powerful performances never go out of style.
