Yami Gautam’s brother, Ojas Gautam, has edited the trailer of Ranveer Singh's starrer Dhurandhar. The trailer received praise from the audience.
However, producer Manpreet Bacchhar has recently showered praise on the aspiring editor. She took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Dear @ojas_gautam, taken sometime to get my thoughts together to find words to applaud you! Having witnessed you as a child to see you grow into this creative force is just phenomenal.”
She added, “When a senior editor of the film @shivkumarpanicker speaks so proudly about you it feels personal, when the director @adityadharfilms of your film empowers you and you deliver, it only gives a glimpse of what insane journey you are on! I still remember you as a child, curious and excited (naughty too hahah).”
The producer added, “I am so sure the family is supremely proud of you and I cannot wait to witness how you will wow the audiences in the coming future! Always cheering for you guys.”
Yami Gautam took to her Instagram Story and reshared the post and wrote, “So Sweet, Manpreet.”
Previously, filmmaker Aditya Dhar revealed that he hadn’t slept for almost 72 to 76 hours. He said, “He was cutting this trailer till 4 am in the morning, and then got it all done.”
Aditya further revealed that Ojas had assisted him while they were trying to work on Ashwatthama between 2020 and 2021. He credited Ojas Gautam's tenacity for Dhurandhar's achievement.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features Ranveer Singh in the central role of Hamza Ali, an undercover operative planted inside the Pakistani mafia by IB chief Ajay Sanyal (R Madhavan). The film marks the first collaboration between Ranveer and Aditya.
