Actor couple Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta have recently shared pictures from their daughter, Veda’s Annaprashan ceremony. They gave their daughter Veda her first taste of rice during the ceremony.

Ishita took to her Instagram and shared a series of pictures from the traditional Bengali ceremony, showing Vatsal and their son Vaayu twinning in a yellow kurta and white pyjamas, while Ishita looked stunning in a saree.

Along with other family members who showered the small bundle of joy with affection, Ishita and Vatsal's parents also attended the event.

Alongside the pictures, she penned in the caption, “Veda’s first taste of rice, wrapped in blessings, love, and tradition. Bengali Annaprashan.”

She added, “@jhabla.co Thankyou for making the most adorable and comfortable clothes for Veda.” She also gave a shout out to the clothing brand and added, “Wearing @zalfrombenaras Vatsal and vaayu outfit: @_umangmehta.”

The post included a picture of a cake with a little girl sitting in front of a plate of food on it. A newborn consumes solid food for the first time during the annaprashan ceremony. It is seen as an important turning point in the child's development.

This comes after the couple celebrated their 8th wedding anniversary on November 28.

She wished her husband on their anniversary by sharing a picture from her wedding ceremony. She penned in the caption, "Happy Anniversary, Vatty. Eight years, two beautiful babiesâ and a lifetime of love to go. Us, always and forever."

Ishita and Vatsal fell in love after initially meeting on the set of the hit television series Rishton Ka Saudagar-Baazigar. The couple eventually got married in 2017 after dating for a while. They welcomed their son Vaayu in July 2023. Vatsal and Ishita became parents for the second time to a baby girl in June this year.
