Actors Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur are steadily building excitement ahead of the release of their upcoming film Do Deewane Seher Mein, and a recent promotional event in Mumbai added an unexpected dose of charm to the buzz.
What began as a routine interaction with the media soon turned into a lighthearted moment that fans couldn’t stop talking about.
During the event, a reporter mentioned Chennai while asking a question, saying, "Woh Chennai wala kuch sawal puch rahe the (They were asking some questions about Chennai)."
The comment instantly caught Siddhant Chaturvedi’s attention. With a playful grin, he pointed towards Mrunal Thakur and teased, "Inse tha woh Chennai wala ya mujhse (That Chennai-related question was for her or me)?"
Mrunal Thakur quickly clarified that the question had been meant for Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Pretending to be surprised, he replied, "Achcha mujhse tha (Oh, it was for me)." He then burst into laughter and turned towards Mrunal Thakur, while reporters around them added to the moment by saying, "Hum samajh rahe hai (We understand)."
What truly caught attention was Mrunal Thakur’s reaction. The actress was seen smiling shyly, visibly blushing as the exchange unfolded. The brief, unscripted moment felt genuine and instantly struck a chord with fans watching the clip online.
Many viewers felt the teasing hinted at an inside joke, with some interpreting it as Siddhant Chaturvedi subtly acknowledging long-standing rumours linking Mrunal Thakur to Tamil superstar Dhanush. The video quickly went viral, sparking fresh discussions across social media.
Speculations around Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush first began last year when they were spotted together at the premiere of Son of Sardar 2.

The rumours gained further traction when Dhanush commented on the teaser of Do Deewane Seher Mein, writing, "Looks and sounds good." Mrunal Thakur responded with heart and sunflower emojis, a small gesture that fans were quick to read into. Despite the chatter, neither Mrunal Thakur nor Dhanush has confirmed anything publicly.
Amid all this, Do Deewane Seher Mein continues to remain the main focus. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, the film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi as Shashank and Mrunal Thakur as Roshni, alongside Ila Arun, Joy Sengupta, Ayesha Raza, Naveen Kaushik, Viraj Ghelani and others. The film is set to hit theatres on February 20, 2026.
