Ranveer Singh’s espionage thriller Dhurandhar continues to create waves, not just at the box office, but also among Bollywood stars.

The latest to share her excitement is actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who couldn’t hide her admiration after watching the film.

Her reaction adds to a growing list of celebrity fans, including Hrithik Roshan, Allu Arjun, Akshay Kumar, Bhumi Pednekar and Adivi Sesh, all of whom have praised the Aditya Dhar directorial.

Dhurandhar‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌, the Ranveer Singh starrer also features a great ensemble cast of Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan and others.

The supporting cast, such as Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor and Rakesh Bedi, have been praised for their contributions in the deeply engaging story. Ever since the movie has been out, the viewers have been putting the movie up on the highest pedestal and have been talking nonstop about the scale, the brilliant acting and the edge-of-the-seat storyline and thus the box office collections have been booming due to the word of mouth.

Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to Instagram Stories to share her thoughts, clearly still buzzing from the cinematic experience.

She wrote, “Still buzzing after #Dhurandhar. The big-screen experience, the immersion, the thrill. And @ranveersingh – Unreal. A shapeshifter, a joy, forever a fan. Every department in perfect sync. Just stunning to watch. @adityadharfilms Biggest congratulations. Akshaye Khanna – the brilliance. @rampal72 Goosebumps. @actormaddy Never stop surprising @duttsanjay (fire emojis).” Her words quickly made rounds on social media, adding even more fuel to the film’s online buzz.

At the box office, Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as one of Bollywood’s recent blockbusters. Within‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ just its first ten days, the film has been able to rake in a net amount of Rs 364.60 crore in India and a total of Rs 552.70 crore worldwide, especially given its runtime of over three and a half hours.

Looking ahead, director Aditya Dhar is all set to carry on the narrative with Dhurandhar Part 2: Revenge that will be opening in theatres on 19 March 2026, Eid day.

The follow-up movie will presumably have a tough time also jabbing against Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy  Tale for Grown-Ups and the Adivi Sesh–Mrunal Thakur–Anurag Kashyap action drama Dacoit, thereby creating another thrilling box office ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌battle.
