In a move that blends entertainment with emerging technology, Collective Artists Network, in collaboration with its AI studio Galleri5, has introduced Mishty, an AI-powered avatar inspired by entrepreneur and actor Rhea Chakraborty.
Mishty is not designed as a direct digital replica of Rhea but rather as a storytelling character built around her personality. The avatar offers an early look at how celebrity interactions and storytelling experiences could evolve in India through the use of advanced technology.
According to the creators, Mishty represents Rhea’s inner voice — capturing her thoughts, reflections and emotions. The name itself is inspired by the nickname used by those close to her. The digital persona has been designed to feel authentic and relatable, allowing audiences to engage with a more interactive and personalised extension of Rhea’s identity.
The avatar has been developed using Galleri5’s G5 AI Studio pipeline, which integrates artificial intelligence models, motion capture technology, voice synthesis and real-time interaction systems. Together, these tools enable the creation of cinematic-grade digital characters capable of engaging in conversations and storytelling experiences with audiences.
The reveal of Mishty took place on March 8, aligning with International Women's Day and the launch of Chapter 2’s latest collection, titled ‘Smash the Patriarchy’. The moment carried both creative and symbolic significance, reflecting the spirit of the collection while introducing a new format for digital engagement.
Mishty mirrors Rhea’s likeness, voice and gestures, allowing fans and followers to interact with the character through personalised experiences and conversations linked to the themes and ideas behind her work.
Developed by Galleri5 — Collective Artists Network’s technology and AI-focused studio — the initiative represents one of the early efforts in India to combine talent management with artificial intelligence-driven storytelling.
Powered by the G5 AI Studio production pipeline, the project orchestrates AI tools, 3D design and live performance capture to extend artists into new digital formats while maintaining their voice and identity. Through Mishty, the company aims to explore new ways of storytelling and fan engagement using emerging technologies.
Speaking about the initiative, Vijay Subramaniam, Founder and Group CEO of Collective Artists Network, said, "We are entering a phase where technology can meaningfully expand how artists exist in the world. Our role at Collective is to help talent explore those possibilities in a way that still feels authentic to who they are. Mishty is one of the first experiments in that direction. It shows how storytelling, personality and technology can come together to create entirely new forms of engagement.”
Sharing her excitement about the project, Rhea Chakraborty added, "Seeing Mishty come to life is an incredible experience. She is not just a reflection of me, but a bridge that lets me connect with the community in ways that feel personal, interactive, and meaningful. This opens up a whole new way to tell stories, engage with audiences, and explore creativity while sharing more of that journey with the world."
The launch of Mishty marks another important step in Collective Artists Network’s expanding technology ambitions through Galleri5. As the company continues to explore the intersection of talent, storytelling and tech-driven experiences, projects like this highlight how the future of entertainment may increasingly blend human creativity with digital innovation.
