Actor Randeep Hooda is gearing up for his upcoming film, Eetha. He was in Kolhapur for the shooting of the film,  directed by Laxman Utekar. The actor took a break from his busy shooting schedule and visited Mahalaxmi Temple, also called the Ambabai Temple.

Fans got a glimpse of Randeep as he seeks blessings at the temple to pray to Goddess Mahalakshmi while he and Shraddha Kapoor are currently filming the last part of Eetha.

The visit is particularly poignant as the actor gets ready to become a parent because the old temple, which dates back to the 7th century, is known for its strong spiritual and historical significance and is thought to bring wealth, protection, and strength.

Soon after the film's completion, in March, he and his wife, Lin Laishram, are expecting their first child.

A source close to the actor reflected on his spritual transformation and said, “This phase has been incredibly transformative for Randeep. He’s finishing an important film, and at the same time, preparing to become a father, something he’s deeply emotional and excited about. Visiting the Kolhapur Mahalaxmi Temple was very integral and spiritual”.

Randeep is well-known for his unwavering devotion to his work and his profoundly reflective personality. His visit to the temple reveals the actor's inner self, who values faith, modesty, and significant beginnings.

Randeep’s temple visit came just days after he wrapped up the Pune leg of the film, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. Shraddha will play the folk artist Vithabai.

The film is based on the remarkable journey of one of Maharashtra's most renowned Tamasha performers, Vithabai Narayangaonkar. Vithabai was born in Pandharpur, in the Solapur district, in July 1935. She came from a family with a strong tradition of performing traditional folk songs. She started her career as a young girl and later rose to fame in the Tamasha and Lavani theatre scenes.
