During the Kapoor family’s intimate Christmas celebrations in Mumbai, 13‑year‑old Samara Sahni, daughter of Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and niece of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, became an unexpected social media favorite thanks to a sweet interaction with photographers. The candid moment captured Samara’s shy, yet charming response to flashing cameras as she stepped out alongside her mother and grandmother, veteran actress Neetu Kapoor.

The relaxed holiday gathering, held at the home of Soni Razdan and attended by close family members including Ranbir, Neetu, and Riddhima, was filled with warmth and laughter. But it was Samara’s bashful reaction to the paparazzi that quickly turned heads online. When asked to pose, she initially looked a little overwhelmed by the attention, hesitating before participating in group and solo photos. What stood out most was her endearing, shy smile — so genuine that it soon went viral, earning admiration from fans and followers across social platforms.

Photographers and onlookers were charmed as Samara blushed, giggled, and even greeted the shutterbugs with a cheerful “Merry Christmas,” a gesture that melted hearts among netizens. Many viewers praised her for handling the moment with innocence and poise, predicting that her poised media presence could hint at a future in the spotlight — should she choose that path.

Interestingly, Samara’s ease around cameras had been discussed recently on filmmaker Farah Khan’s vlog during her visit to Riddhima’s Delhi home. Samara made a brief appearance in the vlog, which led Farah to reference a viral clip from Aadar Jain’s wedding earlier this year.
