Rajpal Yadav has broken his silence on social media after being granted interim bail in the high-profile Rs 9 crore cheque bounce case that has kept him in the headlines in recent weeks.

On Thursday (February 19), the beloved Bollywood actor shared his first post on Instagram since the court’s decision, giving fans a glimpse into his gratitude and relief during this difficult time.

In a short yet heartfelt note, Rajpal Yadav wrote, “Aap sabhi ke pyaar aur saath ke liye dil se dhanyawaad (Heartfelt thanks to all of you for your love and support).”

Though he did not delve into the details of the case, the post reflected his appreciation for the unwavering support he has received from fans, friends, and well-wishers, showing a more vulnerable and human side of the actor.

Support poured in immediately, with fans filling the comments section with messages of encouragement, prayers, and strength.

Known for his impeccable comic timing and memorable performances in Hindi cinema, Rajpal Yadav has been under public scrutiny for weeks, facing legal troubles linked to alleged unpaid dues that reportedly mounted to nearly Rs 9 crore after the failure of his production venture, Ata Pata Laapata.

The interim bail came after Rajpal Yadav deposited Rs 1.5 crore into the complainant’s account, following earlier court directives. Under the terms of the bail, he has surrendered his passport and cannot travel abroad without prior court permission.

The actor had surrendered to authorities on February 5 after the High Court rejected his plea for more time. Previously, he had been sentenced to six months in jail due to repeated non-compliance with court orders.

During this challenging period, Rajpal Yadav was reportedly supported by fellow industry stalwarts such as Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Varun Dhawan, and David Dhawan. Singers Guru Randhawa, Mika Singh, and Anup Jalota also reportedly extended financial help, showcasing the solidarity of the film and music fraternity.
