Priyanka Chopra has joined the chorus of enthusiasm around the recently released teaser for Gandhi Talks, the much-anticipated silent drama set to hit theatres on January 30, 2026.
The film, directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar and featuring Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swamy, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Siddharth Jadhav, forgoes spoken dialogue completely, relying instead on expressive visuals and an evocative musical score by A.R. Rahman to tell its story.
In her reaction to the teaser, Priyanka described the teaser as “amazing,” applauding the filmmakers for their fearless approach to a silent format that stands apart from conventional Indian cinema.
Adding a personal touch to her appreciation, Priyanka Chopra also congratulated her cousin Meerra Chopraa.
Taking to social media, the global star applauded the team’s effort and called the teaser “amazing,” while extending her best wishes to Meerra and the filmmakers. She wrote, “What an amazing teaser, congratulations to @meerachopra and the entire team.”
Thanking Priyanka Chopra, Meerra took to her Instagram account to reshare the actress’ post. She wrote, “Thank you for your constant support always. You are my forever inspiration."
Gandhi Talks has already garnered attention for its experimental nature, using silence and Rahman’s score to amplify emotional beats and convey thematic depth. The teaser has been described as striking and intriguing, teasing a narrative driven by mood, imagery, and expression rather than dialogue — a rare and ambitious choice in today’s dialogue-heavy cinematic landscape.
