Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri’s O’ Romeo witnessed a solid upward trend at the box office on Day 2, coinciding with Valentine’s Day on Saturday. The film, which hit theatres on February 13, showed encouraging growth after its opening day performance.

According to trade reports, the film registered a notable spike in collections on Saturday, earning Rs 12.25 crore nett in India. This marks a significant jump of nearly 45 per cent compared to its Day 1 earnings of Rs 8.50 crore.

With this steady rise, O’ Romeo’s total domestic nett collection now stands at Rs 20.75 crore. The film ran across 4,747 shows on Saturday and recorded an average occupancy of 19.3 per cent. The Valentine’s Day factor appeared to work in its favour, contributing to stronger footfall as the day progressed.

The Moneycontrol review of O'Romeo read as, "‘O’ Romeo' is like a grand building: impressive from the outside but not what you expect inside. This is Bhardwaj’s most commercial attempt, and it both succeeds and misfires. The film is worth watching mainly for Shahid Kapoor, who owns the role completely. While the story and pacing falter, the visual style, action sequences, and quirky moments keep it watchable. Ultimately, ‘O’ Romeo’ is entertaining at times but rarely leaves a lingering impression, making it a mixed bag for fans of Bhardwaj’s work. Despite its flaws, the film manages a few high points, but the three-hour journey is a stretch."

Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and backed by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, O’ Romeo features a strong ensemble cast including Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Vikrant Massey, Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Avinash Tiwary in pivotal roles.
