Mohit Suri praises Dhurandhar

Filmmaker Mohit Suri recently watched Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar and showered praise on the film during his recent appearance at the Directors Roundtable. His comments and appearance on the roundtable are going viral on social media.

Interestingly, Anupama Chopra, a film critic who had criticised the Ranveer Singh film, hosted the Roundtable. The filmmaker is seen praising "Dhurandhar" in a clip from the interview that is doing the rounds online.

Mohit Suri said, “I saw 'Dhurandhar' last week. I enjoyed it. I really did. I think it's out there. It's great; I enjoyed it."

The video is now going viral on social media, with the netizens praising the filmmaker. One person said, “Mohit Suri is a genuine guy; he is always so earnest in his interviews."

Another added, "He is bang on correct. Dhurandhar is the best film of the year! Hands down... nothing matches it... forget beating it." A third person commented, "Hehe… Mohit knew what he was doing... Love it.”

Meanwhile, some claimed in the comments section that the Roundtable was filmed prior to the release of the film critic's video regarding "Dhurandhar."

Dhurandhar hit the theatres last week. The film critic described Dhurandhar as a "exhausting, relentless, and frenzied espionage thriller propelled by charismatic, murderous men, too much testosterone, shrill nationalism, and inflammatory anti-Pakistan narratives." She later deleted the review video from the platform after receiving a lot of negative feedback.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features an ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Ranveer Singh, Rakesh Bedi, Arjun Rampal, and Sara Arjun. The movie was released in theatres on December 5, 2025.
