Dhurandhar costume designer Smriti Chauhan as Ranveer Singh's film surpasses Rs 1000 crore

Ranveer Singh starrer and Aditya Dhar’s spy action thriller Dhurandhar recently surpassed a staggering Rs 1000 crore in just three weeks of release. The film continues to dominate the box office.

Designer Smriti Chauhan opened up on Instagram in a very personal statement, praising Ranveer Singh for being a consistent source of encouragement during Dhurandhar's difficult path, in addition to being a towering performance.

She spoke on his unending generosity, emotional support, and unshakable faith in her throughout times of self-doubt, referring to him as a "force."

Smriti wrote, “@ranveersingh was that force for me in my #Dhurandhar journey. I’ll tell you a little secret about this magnificent being I’m talking about: He has so much love to give — you’ll get tired receiving, but he won’t stop giving it."

She recalled the start of the voyage on March 13, 2024, when she was given the film by director Aditya Dhar. She said that Ranveer's presence made the situation bearable. The actor became her emotional pillar, offering her unexpected words of support on trying days and subtly keeping the crew cohesive.

She expressed gratitude and said, “This journey felt safe and held together because of you.”

The note also alludes to the impending storm, hinting at Ranveer Singh's next outburst on March 19, 2026, and implying a return to a time when fan enthusiasm is uncommon in contemporary film.

In the meantime, Dhurandhar's domination at the box office has not diminished. Driven by Ranveer Singh's powerful, life-changing performance, the movie has broken records and solidified its status as one of the biggest Hindi blockbusters ever, breaking into the Rs. 1000 crore club. Trade observers attribute the film's extraordinary run to its remarkable word-of-mouth, repeat value, and Ranveer's career-defining performance.
