In the sequel, Ranveer Singh returns as Hamza Ali, an undercover Indian intelligence operative navigating dangerous criminal networks in Pakistan.

Promising bigger action, heightened tension, and deeper emotional stakes, Dhurandhar 2 looks set to take the espionage drama to thrilling new heights.

Directed by Aditya Dhar and produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 19 March 2026.

Unlike the original, the sequel will release in multiple languages — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam — ensuring fans across India can enjoy the full experience.

Ranveer Singh also tagged key members of the ensemble cast and crew, including Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, and director Aditya Dhar, hinting at the star-studded performances audiences can expect.

Interestingly, the anticipated box-office face-off with Yash’s Toxic has now been averted, as the makers of Toxic have postponed their release to 4 June due to challenges in global distribution caused by ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

Earlier rumours suggested the trailer might drop on 3 March, just ahead of Holi, but trade analyst Taran Adarsh clarified that no such release date had ever been planned, putting speculation to rest.

The buzz surrounding the trailer reflects the excitement of fans eager to return to Hamza Ali’s world of danger, espionage, and high-octane action, making it one of the most anticipated releases of the year.
