Fans of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain finally have something to cheer about, as the beloved sitcom makes its long-awaited jump from the small screen to the big screen.
Last year, the makers had teased a feature film adaptation, and now the excitement has turned into reality with the release of the official trailer.
The trailer also teases cameo appearances by Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari, adding extra buzz for fans.
Right from the start, the trailer taps into nostalgia with the show’s iconic catchphrase, “Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai?” Aasif Sheikh and Rohitashv Gour return as Vibhuti Narayan Mishra and Manmohan Tiwari, picking up exactly where they left off.
Their trademark antics — scheming to get closer to each other’s wives — are back in full force, blending clever humour with playful mischief.
In one scene, Vibhuti approaches Angoori Tiwari (played by Shubhangi Atre) saying, “The milkman ran out of milk, so I thought if Bhabhi ji can give me some milk.” Not to be outdone, Tiwari turns to Annu Mishra (played by Vidisha Srivastava) with his own excuse: “We are out of sugar at home, I thought I could borrow some from bhabhi ji.” These light-hearted moments perfectly capture the charm that has kept audiences laughing for over a decade.
The fun escalates when two goons, played by Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari, develop crushes on Angoori and Annu, respectively. Chaos ensues as they threaten Vibhuti and Tiwari at gunpoint, creating a hilarious mix of suspense, comedy, and unexpected twists.
The film also brings back fan-favourite supporting characters, including Saanand Verma as Saxena, Yogesh Tripathi as Daroga Happu Singh, and Soma Rathod as Ramkali Tiwari, ensuring the familiar ensemble chemistry remains intact.
Adding a fresh twist, the trailer ends with a spooky yet funny moment showing Angoori possessed, hinting at a horror-comedy angle for the movie.
Directed by Shashank Bali, one of the original show’s writers, and co-written by Raghuvir Shekhawat and Sanjay Kohli, the film is produced by longtime series producer Binaifer Kohli in association with Zee Cinema.
Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 6 February, promising fans a delightful mix of nostalgia, laughter, and a few unexpected thrills.
