Marking Valentine’s Day, the makers unveiled the much-awaited romantic track Main Hoon. Featuring Salman Khan alongside Chitrangda Singh, the song delicately explores the emotional heartbeat of the film, presenting a softer, intimate layer within the larger narrative of courage and sacrifice.
While Main Hoon portrays the love story of a soldier on screen, the makers also highlighted a powerful real-life parallel. As a tribute, Salman Khan Films shared a moving video featuring Colonel Sarabjit Singh (Retd) and his wife, Mrs. Ikwinder Singh, honoring not just the veteran but also the families who stand steadfast behind India’s armed forces.
Colonel Sarabjit Singh (Retd), who served in the Indian Army from 1977 to 2005 in the 9th Unit of the Bihar Regiment, led several key operations including Operation Rakshak, Operation Rhino, Operation Vijay, and Operation Pawan. His decorated career reflects years of bravery and dedication to the nation.
In the heartfelt video, the couple opened up about the realities of a soldier’s life and the strength required from a soldier’s spouse. They spoke about long periods of separation, the emotional toll of distance, and even practical preparations — including teaching his wife how to handle a pistol in case of any untoward situation.
The Colonel also shared how he missed simple comforts like home-cooked Kadhi Chawal and Parathas during his postings, while family photographs became his biggest emotional anchor during challenging times.
