Ayesha Khan did not expect cameras waiting for her when she arrived at the Mumbai airport in the early hours of Saturday, February 7.
Stepping out of her car at the departure gate, she paused for a moment, visibly surprised to see paparazzi already stationed there.
A short video shared on Instagram captured that split second of confusion, followed quickly by her natural warmth. Even though she was clearly in a hurry, Ayesha Khan handled the attention with calm and courtesy.
As she made her way towards the terminal, the photographers asked if she could stop for a few pictures. Despite the time pressure, Ayesha Khan obliged.
She removed her earphones, smiled and posed briefly. When the paparazzi requested a few extra seconds, she politely explained that she was running late and might miss her flight if she waited any longer. With that, she headed inside to complete her check-in, leaving behind a small, genuine interaction that fans appreciated for its simplicity.
True to the mood of an early-morning flight, Ayesha Khan’s airport look was relaxed and practical. She chose a turtleneck layered with an asymmetrical brown full-sleeved top, paired with beige trousers and slippers.
Skipping makeup altogether, she kept accessories minimal with just a pair of golden hoop earrings, wearing her hair loose. The overall look reflected comfort rather than performance — a refreshing contrast to heavily styled airport appearances.
Since her time on Bigg Boss 17, Ayesha Khan has been steadily gaining attention, especially after her appearance in the lively Shararat track from Dhurandhar, alongside Krystle D’Souza.
With that attention have come comparisons to established performers like Nora Fatehi and Tamannaah Bhatia, both known for their commanding dance presence. Ayesha Khan has addressed this chatter with grace and self-awareness.
Speaking to Pinkvilla, she said, “I’ve seen some reels of me being compared to Nora Fatehi or Tamannaah Bhatia. I feel like I would never compare myself to them. I’m always in awe whenever I look at them. Such wonderful women doing such great things in life. I could never do what Nora is doing; she is incredible." Her words reflected admiration rather than competition, a tone that resonated with many fans.
On the professional front, Ayesha Khan was recently seen in Kis Kisko Pyaar Dun 2, starring Kapil Sharma and directed by Anukalp Goswami. The film, which also featured Manjot Singh, Hira Warina, Tridha Choudhury and Parul Gulati, is currently streaming on JioHotstar.
She is now preparing for her next project, an untitled film co-starring Sunny Kaushal and Ashish Verma, as she continues to navigate a growing career with quiet confidence.
