Actor Bobby Deol recently took to his social media to share a delightful picture with Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh, expressing his sheer joy at meeting his "Punjabi brother." The heartwarming encounter quickly went viral, much to the delight of their fans.
Bobby posted a selfie on Instagram featuring himself and Diljit, both sporting stylish black outfits. The background suggested they were inside a store, adding a casual yet cool vibe to their meeting. Both stars looked incredibly handsome, showcasing their unique and engaging personalities. Bobby's caption, "Punjabi Munda Mil Gaya Oye!", perfectly encapsulated his excitement and affection for Diljit, whom he also tagged in the post.
The actors are currently busy with their respective projects, gearing up for some exciting releases.
Bobby Deol was recently seen in a cameo in 'Housefull 5,' directed by Tarun Mansukhani, which hit cinemas on June 6th.
Following this, he's now preparing for his next big venture, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu.' In this highly anticipated film, Bobby will be seen portraying the role of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, starring alongside Pawan Kalyan. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A.M. Jyothi Krishna, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' is set for a worldwide release on July 24th, 2025.
The film will be released in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, showcasing its broad appeal.
Diljit Dosanjh is currently busy with the promotions of his upcoming Punjabi movie ‘Sardaar Ji 3’ with Neeru Bajwa and Pakistani actor Hania Aamir. The movie has run into trouble over the casting of Hania, since India has banned Pakistani actors from working in Indian projects after the deadly Pahalgam attack.
Diljit Dosanjh is also immersed in the shooting of his upcoming film, 'Border 2.' This much-awaited sequel features a stellar cast including Sunil Shetty's son Ahan Shetty, Sunny Deol, and Varun Dhawan in pivotal roles. The third schedule of the film is reportedly being shot at the National Defence Academy (NDA) in Pune, adding an authentic touch to the war drama. 'Border 2' is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, with Anurag Singh at the helm as director.
'Border 2' is a sequel to the iconic 1997 war film 'Border,' which remains a fan favorite. The film is slated to hit theatres on January 23, 2026, just before Republic Day, promising a patriotic cinematic experience.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming projects from both Bobby Deol and Diljit Dosanjh. Which of their upcoming films are you most excited to see?
