Salman Khan's return for another intense Weekend Ka Vaar this weekend brought the turmoil at the Bigg Boss house to a head.
Known for his no-nonsense approach, the superstar host didn’t disappoint, giving several contestants a much-needed wake-up call — especially Gaurav Khanna and Mridul Tiwari, who found themselves firmly in the hot seat.
After a chaotic week packed with arguments, changing dynamics and Abhishek Bajaj’s new captaincy, Salman entered with his signature charm — dancing to Heeriye — but quickly turned serious. He pointed out that some contestants were clearly playing it safe, steering clear of tasks and conflicts in a bid to stay unnoticed.
To shake things up, Bigg Boss introduced the ‘Thumbnail’ task, asking housemates to decide who didn’t deserve to be the face of the show. And that’s when the fireworks really began.
During the exercise, Baseer and Gaurav got into a fight, accusing each other of being a background player. By painting Gaurav's face black and accusing him, Awez, and Pranit of hiding in the background and not playing the game much, Amaal fanned the flames.
When Tanya confronted Mridul about his abrupt change in conduct, claiming that he poses as her friend but fails to stand by her when it matters most, the situation became even more heated.
Accusations flew around the room during Neelam and Awez's heated argument about loyalty and game tactics.
The majority of the housemates voted Gaurav out of the BB thumbnail at the end of the challenge, which sparked even more discussion and increased hostility.

When Salman revisited the moment during his chat with the contestants, he teased Gaurav — calling him the “blue-eyed boy of Indian television” — but made it clear that his lack of involvement wasn’t going unnoticed. “It’s not about editing. You’re the one cutting your own screen time,” Salman quipped.
While the mood was heavy, Salman also lightened things up by praising Farhaana and asking her to mimic Tanya, much to the amusement of everyone.
But the message was clear — the time for playing it safe is over.
