One name making waves is Himanshi Narwal, the wife of Navy Officer Vinay Narwal, who tragically lost his life during a terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, in April 2025. Reports suggest the makers are keen to bring her on board, seeing her as someone who could instantly connect with viewers.

Himanshi, a resident of Gurugram, came into the public eye earlier this year when a heartbreaking image of her mourning beside her husband’s body went viral on social media. The couple had been on their honeymoon when the attack occurred. Her personal story, marked by tragedy and resilience, has already drawn significant public attention.

Sources indicate that her participation is “very likely,” as the makers often seek contestants whose life journeys evoke strong emotions.

Interestingly, Himanshi also shares a link with Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav, having pursued higher studies alongside him.

Since Elvish’s entry into the Bigg Boss universe, each season has featured at least one contestant connected to him — from Lovekesh Kataria to Rajat Dalal — and his fanbase has played a key role in boosting their popularity.

A news report claims, “Makers want to rope in a few people who would connect with the viewers instantly, and thus there were discussions to get Himanshi Narwal on board for Bigg Boss 19.”
