Ashneer Grover fires back at Salman Khan After Bigg Boss 18 Showdown, says "Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne..."

Former Shark Tank India judge and BharatPe co-founder Ashneer Grover recently addressed the controversy surrounding his appearance on Bigg Boss 18, where Salman Khan had called out his previous statements about the actor.

During a Weekend Ka Vaar episode in November 2024, Salman grilled Ashneer over some of the controversial remarks he had made about him in the past. Now, two months after his appearance on the show, Ashneer has responded, accusing Salman of unnecessarily escalating the situation and creating drama.

A video circulating on social media shows Ashneer addressing students at NIT Kurukshetra, where he took aim at Salman’s comment that he didn’t even know Ashneer’s name.

Ashneer remarked, "Faltu ka panga leke apna competition khada kiya usne. Main toh shanti se gaya tha jab mereko bulaya. Ab drama create karna ke liye aap kisiko bol do, arey main toh aapse mila hi nahi. I don’t even know your name. Abey naam nahi jaanta toh bulaaya kyun tha?" (He created unnecessary competition by picking a fight. I had gone peacefully when I was called. And now, to create drama, he’s telling everyone, ‘Oh, I never even met you. I don’t even know your name.’ If you didn’t know my name, then why did you call me?).

Ashneer further dismissed Salman’s claim that they never met, stating, "Aur ek baat main bata deta hun. Tum agar meri company ke brand ambassador the toh aisa nahi ho sakta ki tum merese bina mile brand ambassador ban gaye. Mai bhi kamino ki tarah hi company chalata tha. Everything had to go through me." (And let me tell you one more thing. If you are the brand ambassador of my company, it wouldn’t have been possible for you to become the brand ambassador without meeting me. I ran my company like a ruthless person. Everything had to go through me).

During his Bigg Boss appearance, Salman had refuted Ashneer’s previous claims of meeting him and expressed his disappointment. However, Ashneer later apologised, saying that he did not intend any disrespect.
