Anupamaa: Gaurav Khanna sheds light on his return to the Rupali Ganguly starrer show

Gaurav Khanna has gained popularity in Indian television, mainly for his portrayal of Anuj Kapadia in the Rupali Ganguly show, Anupamaa. As many know, he left the Rajan Shahi production a few months ago and participated in Celebrity MasterChef. Following his triumph, Gaurav entered the Bigg Boss 19 house and became the competition's first finalist.

Recent reports suggest that he could return to Anupamaa after the Salman Khan show. A quote from his earlier interview strongly suggests his possible comeback to Anupamaa.

Currently, Rupali Ganguly’s role, Anupamaa, has restarted her catering business in Mumbai. She has obtained a major order from the AK Group of companies. She thinks that Anuj is still alive and will come back to her soon. This plot is definitely capturing the attention of fans.

As Bigg Boss 19 wrapped up on December 7, it appears quite probable that Gaurav Khanna will return to Anupamaa. Ultimately, he has never verified that he exited the program.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Gaurav Khanna stated, “Anuj Kapadia represents a comma to me; there’s no period. Rajan Sir hasn't removed the character. The story currently has no room for him. However, this is Indian television. Anyone is able to return, and there are many examples. Nonetheless, that doesn't mean I am surely returning to the show. However, always avoid saying never."

Concerning his potential comeback, Gaurav Khanna was quoted by News18 as saying, “Why not!! It is one of my favorite roles, yet I think each story possesses its unique quality.”

He was also quoted in a video interview by FilmyGyan highlighting how the show was initially offered to him for two months with Anuj Kapadia being a cameo role but was later extended with the audience showering him with a lot of love.

Bigg Boss 19 wrapped up spectacularly on December 7, with Gaurav Khanna claiming the winner’s trophy and winning the Rs 50 lakh cash reward. He triumphed over his main rival, Farrhana Bhatt, to clinch the victory.
