Director Anil Ravipudi, fresh off the massive success of his recent blockbuster Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, has reportedly locked the script for his next ambitious project.
The upcoming film is already generating strong buzz in industry circles as it brings together two powerhouses from different cinematic worlds — Venkatesh Daggubati and Fahadh Faasil — for a full-fledged commercial entertainer.
This project marks the fourth collaboration between Anil Ravipudi and Venkatesh, following their successful outings with F2: Fun and Frustration, F3: Fun and Frustration, and the 2025 Sankranthi hit Sankranthiki Vasthunam. Their proven track record of delivering festive blockbusters has already raised expectations, and the addition of Fahadh Faasil has taken the excitement to another level. Known for his intense, layered performances, Fahadh is reportedly set to surprise audiences by stepping into a substantial comic role — a space rarely explored by him in Telugu cinema.
According to insiders, the film is shaping up as a mass comedy and light-hearted family entertainer. The story is said to revolve around two families, with the emotional and comedic core built around a Bava–Maridi (brother-in-law) relationship between the characters played by Venkatesh and Fahadh. While early chatter compared the premise to Bro Daddy, sources insist that the script is an original, high-energy narrative crafted specifically for Telugu audiences, with Ravipudi’s trademark humor and emotional beats.
On the casting front, while official confirmations are still awaited, Keerthy Suresh and Pooja Hegde are currently being considered for the female leads. Music is expected to be composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, continuing his collaboration with Ravipudi after Sankranthiki Vasthunam. The film is likely to go on floors by June 2026.
Anil Ravipudi has steadily earned a reputation as a “Sankranthi specialist,” with several of his films striking gold during the festive window. Staying true to that image, the makers are targeting a grand Sankranthi 2027 theatrical release. Venkatesh himself recently hinted at the timeline during a success meet, confidently stating, “We are coming back for Sankranthi 2027.”
With the script locked and primary casting in advanced stages, an official announcement is expected soon once production details are finalized. Given the Ravipudi–Venkatesh success formula and Fahadh Faasil’s pan-India appeal, the film is already being positioned as one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of 2027.
