Alaya F, known for her versatile performances and ever-evolving filmography, recently opened up about the struggles she faced before stepping into Bollywood. Despite hailing from a film family, the actress revealed that her journey was far from smooth, filled with auditions, rejections, and moments of self-doubt.
In a candid conversation, Alaya shared, “It was not like anyone came and offered me a film outright. I went for a lot of meetings, but nothing ever came out of those meetings.” Despite her passion and persistence, the path to success wasn’t immediate, and Alaya had to face numerous challenges along the way.
The actress also spoke about the emotional toll that the journey took on her. “I have had my share of struggles. I’ve had nights where I sobbed after not getting the 10th audition I gave in a month, or when I was canceled at the last second for a test I had been prepping for for the longest time,” she admitted. Alaya further revealed that there were times when she was replaced at the last moment, highlighting the tough realities of the industry. "I’ve had my low moments where I’ve gotten switched out and replaced, but the journey has been very different. And I think it’s always important to recognize that,” she said.

Despite these setbacks, Alaya F made a stellar debut in Jawaani Jaaneman, which marked the beginning of her successful Bollywood career. Since then, she has consistently taken on diverse roles, showing her range and commitment to her craft. From the psychological thriller Freddy to the action-packed Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Alaya has proven her versatility, continually pushing herself to explore new genres and challenge her limits.
