Actor Radhika Apte recently brought her baby daughter to India for the first time. She shared this news on Instagram with a cute photo from inside the airport. In the photo, she can be seen holding her daughter in a shoulder carrier. Although the baby’s face is not revealed, Radhika playfully covered it with a hat and sunglasses emoji.
She expressed how happy she was to introduce her little girl to the magic of Mumbai. Radhika chose this month for the visit on purpose. She said April is the best time for a Mumbai introduction because of the sunshine and mango season. In her Instagram post, she wrote, “Touchdown in the motherland! Mum chose the best month for a Mumbai intro. Sun, mango, and red heart emoji.” She also added hashtags like #shocked, #mangoseason, and #hothothot to show the fun and excitement.
Many fans and celebrities reacted to her post. Actor Tisca Chopra commented, “Oh my lord,” with a heart emoji. Other users also shared their love and excitement in the comments.
Radhika and her husband, Benedict Taylor, welcomed their daughter in late 2024. She had shared the news in December 2024 with a touching photo of her holding the baby and mentioned it was her first work meeting after birth, while her baby was just one week old.
Radhika had earlier surprised her fans by showing her baby bump at the BFI London Film Festival in October 2024. She walked the red carpet proudly and later attended the screening of her movie, Sister Midnight.
