Actor Huma Qureshi recently shared an unseen picture of her close friends Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal from their wedding and congratulated the newlyweds on a social media platform.
Sonakshi Sinha got married to Zaheer Iqbal in a civil marriage followed by a grand reception on June 23 in Mumbai. The couple dated for seven years before getting hitched for a lifetime.

In the image shared by Huma, the Dabangg actress wore a beautiful ivory saree for the wedding, upcycling her mother Poonam Sinha's wedding saree. Zaheer Iqbal looked stunning in a white embroidered kurta-pyjama, complementing Sonakshi's look.
She wrote in the caption:
Two most different personalities … two unique souls …. But … together you fit perfectly. I’m so blessed to have witnessed this beautiful mad passionate love story .. my friends are now husband and wife.
Actors Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha are best friends and have also shared the screen in the film Double XL which was released in 2022. Sonakshi's now-husband Zaheer also played a crucial role in the film.
Sonakshi and Zaheer's wedding was an intimate affair with close friends and family members at the bride's residence. They officially got married under the Special Marriage Act and completed all the legal formalities of their Civil Marriage.
Later in the evening on June 23, the couple hosted a grand reception party at Bastian in Mumbai. Several notable Bollywood personalities like Salman Khan, Kajol, Anil Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari, Siddarth, and others graced the occasion and made it a star-studded event.
Sonakshi and Zaheer made their first public appearance together at the reception. While Sonakshi was wearing a red Banarasi saree with golden borders worth 75k paired with Kundan jewellery, her husband was seen wearing a dashing white sherwani with matching trousers.
