The seventh and final phase of Lok Sabha polls is schedule for June 1, Saturday, between 7 am to 6 pm. Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand and the union territory of Chandigarh will go to polls in this phase.
Many of these states have already voted in the first six phases from April 19 to May 26 and will once again vote in the last phase of the general election.
After the conclusion of election in the world's largest democracy on June 1, exit polls will begin, giving early indications of potential winners even before the actual results are declared. The actual counting of votes for the Lok Sabha polls will take place on June 4.
Lok Sabha Elections 2024 exit polls: When and where to check?
Exit poll results will start coming on the same day as the last phase of Lok Sabha election 2024 after the conclusion of the voting process. Several political research agencies and media organisations conduct exit polls by assembling feedback and opinions of voters after each phase of polling.
Exit polls serve as an important tool to understand voter sentiments with regards to political parties. The aim is to provide early indication of the potential results before they are finally announced.
According to the rules set out by Election Commission, exit polls can only be published 30 minutes after the last vote has been cast. As such, it will start by 6:30 pm on June 1.

The exit polls will be followed by counting of votes, which will take place on June 4, Tuesday. The wait of people all over the country will come to an end after the final tally which will be declared by the end of the day on June 4. All eyes will be on whether the BJP will once again assume power or opposition bloc INDIA will take the lead this time.
