The Commission conducted the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination on May 25, 2025, which served as the first filter for candidates. Those who qualified then proceeded to the main examination, held from August 22 to August 31, 2025.

The final hurdle was the Personality Test (Interview), which concluded recently on February 27, 2026. This year, the announcement comes slightly later than the typical one-week window usually observed by the UPSC following the conclusion of interviews.
