UP Board Class 12 Practical Exam 2026 Schedule Announced, Check Dates Here

UPMSP has announced the UP Board Class 12 practical exam schedule for 2026, with exams in two phases from January 24 to February 9, check details below.

The Office of the Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Uttar Pradesh (UPMSP), Prayagraj has released the schedule for the UP Board Class 12 practical examinations for 2026. The announcement has been made well in advance to help students, schools, and examiners plan the examination process properly.

UP Board Class 12 Practical Exam 2026 Dates

According to the official notice, the practical examinations will be conducted in two phases across different districts of the state.

The first phase will be held from January 24 to February 01, 2026. However, no practical examinations will be conducted on January 29 and 30, as the UP TET written examination is scheduled on these days. Schools have been instructed not to hold any other examinations on these dates and to observe academic holidays.

The second phase of the practical examinations will take place from February 02 to February 09, 2026 for the remaining districts.

District-wise Schedule

The districts have been divided into two groups for the smooth conduct of examinations.

  • The first group includes Agra, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Ayodhya, Azamgarh, Devipatan, and Basti.
  • The second group covers Aligarh, Meerut, Moradabad, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur.

Schools in all districts have been asked to follow the schedule strictly.

Examination Guidelines and Assessment

Principals will be responsible for conducting the practical examinations under CCTV surveillance. The recordings must be preserved and provided when required. High school practical examinations will be conducted at the school level and will be based on internal assessment and project work.

Private candidates must contact the principal of their forwarding centre to ensure they can appear for the examinations as scheduled.
